A spreadsheet is a grid. A production schedule is not.

A spreadsheet was built for numbers. Not for shoot days, crew lists, or episode breakdowns. You make it work - but you are always working around it.

One view for everyone

A spreadsheet shows every person the same grid. The line producer, the art department, the director - same layout, whether it works for them or not.

No production structure

It has no concept of episodes, shoot days, departments, or crew. You build that logic yourself. Every time. On every production.

Scheduling is not a grid

Moving a block means cutting, pasting, and reformatting rows. There is no drag. No resize. No timeline. Just cells.

Every angle is a separate sheet

If you need dates and episodes and crew, that is three sheets. Change one and the others are already wrong.

All your productions. One place.

Every production you run lives in one database. The right people see what they need - no digging through folders, no chasing updates, no separate files to maintain.

Move one block. Update the whole schedule.

When a shoot day shifts or a stage gets rescheduled, you should not have to go line by line. Make bulk changes across the entire schedule in one action - not one hour.

One version. Always.

When the schedule lives in a file, version confusion is constant. With Planner there is no file to send. There is one schedule - live, always current - and everyone is looking at the same one.

Up and running in minutes.

No training. No consultant. You know what a schedule needs - Planner gives you the right tool to build it.

1

Create your project

Name the production, set the dates, and choose the structure. Drama series, commercial, documentary - it works for any format.

2

Set your views

Choose how you want to cut the schedule - by date, episode, department, location, or a combination. Change them any time.

3

Build the schedule

Add blocks and drag them into place. Resize durations directly on the grid. The structure adjusts as you go.

4

Invite and share

Add your team with edit access. Invite crew to view for free. Export to PDF when you need a hard copy.

Early access. Real reactions.

Questions about Planner

Is the free plan actually free, or is it a trial?+

It is a real free plan with no time limit. You can build and run a production on the free plan without entering a card. You only pay if you want more projects or additional editing seats.

Can crew view the schedule without a paid account?+

Yes. You can invite anyone to view the schedule for free. They do not need a Planner account. They open a link and see the schedule in the view you have shared with them.

Does it work for different types of production?+

Yes - drama series, commercials, documentary, corporate video, live events. The axis structure is flexible enough to fit any format. You set up the views that match your production, not the other way around.

What happens if I need to restructure the schedule mid-production?+

Drag the blocks to their new positions. The grid adjusts. None of the other views break. You do not need to rebuild anything.

How is this different from a shared Google Sheet?+

A shared Google Sheet still gives everyone the same view and no concept of episodes, departments, or crew. Two people editing at the same time causes conflicts. There is no drag-and-drop. There is no way to show the art department only what they need to see. Planner is built specifically for production scheduling - not adapted from a general spreadsheet tool.

Ditch the Spreadsheets.
